Penelope Dehyle El-Dalati
Penelope Deyhle El-Dalati has always been a creative person and has been a full time artist for most of her life. Her painting began while growing up in London and has flourished into adulthood during her studies at Central Saint Martins in London, the School of Visual Arts in New York and furthered her studies at Yale. Known for her trademark goldfish series, her painting collections also include landscapes and water based abstractions. The most recent addition is her dinnerware collections, inspired from her paintings and personal need for something unique at the dinner table.
Penelope is currently represented by galleries along the east coast, stretching from Martha’s Vineyard to Key West, including Beauregard Fine Art in her hometown of Rumson, New Jersey. Her paintings have been reviewed by The New York Times, listed in Art in America, featured in Elle Décor and displayed at various show homes in support for the Visiting Nurse Association.
Experience working at museums and galleries, she continues to be involved with the art community by taking classes at the Art Students League in Manhattan. A resident currently of the Jersey Shore, she also continues her water themed paintings using direct influence from her home and trips to Provincetown.
